Yew Burr / Burl | Deep Blood Red Swirls | Alumilite Resin Pen Blanks

These are Alumilite cast Yew Burr or Burl Pen Blanks.

These are cast with Deep Blood Red Swirls.

Some of these blanks have a line down the middle where they have been slightly cut wrong, this will make no difference to your turning and will still make some interesting pens but because they are not 100% they are offered with a discount.

Please Read : Each blank is 100% unique as the burr in this rare wood is always different. Careful turning is required with special care taken from the transition between wood and resin.

I'm normally around if you need my advice.

It's very difficult to show these blanks when they are incased in resin but these will make some fantastic pens!

All wood within our pen blanks is fully stabilised under full vacuum with Turntex Cactus Juice.

Some of the sides have been lightly sanded and a small amount of spray lacquer is used on the blank just to show off the colours.
