This is a very unique wooden wood turned bowl made from English Spalted Holly.

Spalted is a natural pattering of the wood caused by fungi as the tree is coming to the end of it's life leaving the most unique colours and patterns within the wood and making each piece 100% unique.

Holly takes a long time to grow so this tree could have been up to 300 years old.
