Beautiful and rare Ambuyna Red Burr / Burl Pen Blanks

The 'King' of pen blanks!

These are some of the most desirable and sort after woods and should make some stunning pens.

These are classed as 'Red' meaning they are closer to the heart of the wood and keeping in colour, some still may contain the slight golden of the sap burr but this will just add to the uniqueness of the blanks.

If you are making sets of pens then let us know and we will try to match the blanks the best we can.

Blanks are 21x21x130

The price is for one pen blank

Some of the sides have been lightly sanded and a small amount of spray lacquer is used on the blank just to show off the colours

Stunning Ambuyna burl

These blanks are stunning. I can’t wait to make them up into pens. It’s so difficult to find blanks as good as this in the UK but Phil does a great job of filling that void. I never want a plain straight grained wood for a pen. I always want something unique, stunning, beautiful. I can definitely recommend Phil’s work so check him out. Steve
